I, Sean Gustavus Tarjyoto am a Pacific Northwest-based actor and filmmaker.

Way back in the 2000s—2010s, I studied directing, visual arts, politics and sociology at NYU Gallatin School and pursued an MFA at the Integrated Media Art program at Hunter College.

While at Hunter, I played the lead in the Columbia University 16mm thesis Mr. A, which tied for a student Oscar. I also served thousands of pints of beers in exchange for many hours improvisational comedy training at The People's Improv Theatre, and appeared on the proto-Adult Swim (fka ThingX) pilot Paynt Boyz.

Around 2016 CE, I returned to my hometown of Portland, Oregon, where I appear as beleaguered local journalist Angus on the Emmy-Award winning Hulu Original Shrill, a date coach on Portlandia with Rachel Bloom, and in the Sundance opening feature film Sometimes I Think About Dying, among many regional commercials, in-house industrials and public service announcements. My YouTube channel features much of my early short film work.
